Job Summary

Advantia Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Call Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences through effective communication, scheduling, and registration processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initial Patient Contact: Greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records and accounts.
  • Phone Handling: Welcome patients and visitors on the phone, serving as the first point of contact between the patient and our practice.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Perform all registration tasks for new patients and update registration information for established patients, ensuring seamless scheduling and appointment management.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate effective handling of patient situations, including upset or dissatisfied customers, and work collaboratively with other teams to resolve customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by phone, adhering to established scheduling guidelines.
  • Patient Comfort: Anticipate patients' anxieties, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming reception area environment.
  • Financial Management: Record and update financial information, and collect patient charges to optimize revenue.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a medical or clinical office setting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with EMR, computerized scheduling and registration systems, including Athena, Greenway, and Phreesia.
