We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in the patient care process by performing moderate and high complexity testing, analyzing and reviewing test results, and implementing effective solutions when corrective action is needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including moderate and high complexity testing
- Analyze and review test results to ensure accuracy and quality
- Implement effective solutions to resolve issues and improve laboratory processes
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control initiatives
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within area of specialty
