Job Summary:

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and preparation of laboratory specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specimen Processing: You will be responsible for processing and preparing laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring that they are properly labeled, stored, and transported.
  • Quality Control: You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality control, recognizing and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Safety and Compliance: You will work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, championing safety, compliance, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
  • Skills: Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, ability to operate general laboratory equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
