Key Responsibilities- Exhibit proficiency and expertise in administrative functions, applying acquired skills and ERCOT policies to complete assigned tasks and enhance capabilities.
- Engage in assignments that typically align with your area of expertise, addressing semi-routine tasks while recognizing when to seek guidance for complex issues.
- Adhere to established procedures for routine responsibilities, requiring direction for new or intricate assignments.
- May offer informal mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Deliver high-level administrative assistance to the Engineer Development Program and Grid Interconnection Department.
- Coordinate departmental schedules, interviews, team gatherings, and facilitate both internal and external meetings.
- Maintain processes and procedures for management and engineering personnel.
- Oversee the help request inbox, directing inquiries to the appropriate support teams.
- Manage the team’s shared mailbox, assigning tasks to engineers and support staff.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new engineers, including access requests and initial equipment and software setup.
- Assist management in recruiting efforts, including screening engineering candidates and scheduling interviews.
- Process and manage expense reports for designated departments.
- Collect and organize data, collaborating with both internal and external data providers.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- No minimum work experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is essential.
Salary and level will be determined based on overall experience as assessed by ERCOT.
Education Requirements- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge in relevant fields is acceptable.
- CAP Certified Administrative Professional is preferred.
- Employees are expected to be on-site a minimum of 2-3 days per week, with flexibility based on business needs.
- On-site schedules may be adjusted as necessary.
- Remote work must be conducted from a Texas residence.
- Employees may choose to work on-site more frequently if desired.
