About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable team in performing various tasks, including monitoring past due accounts, analyzing issues, and suggesting resolution plans. You will also oversee the AR team's daily functions, assist with accounting projects, and provide support to other teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable team in monitoring past due accounts and resolving issues in collaboration with the Assistant Controller.
  • Supervise and guide AR team members, providing training and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Assist with accounting projects, working closely with the Accounting Supervisor and Controller to drive process improvements.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in an environment handling large national retailers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate-level data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to analyze complex data and implement solutions.
