Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our branch/unit/satellite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing facility, and ensuring a comprehensive outcome-driven program that meets the needs of our members.
About the Role:
- Prepare youth for success by planning and overseeing the administration of designated programs and activities that support optimal club experience outcomes.
- Establish program objectives consistent with organizational goals and mission, and ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities.
- Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety, and development of members, and ensure a healthy, safe environment with well-maintained facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend regular meetings as instructed by supervisors, conduct weekly meetings with line staff, and establish and maintain program goals and settings that insure the health and safety of members.
- Ensure the evaluation of programs on a continual basis, control program and activity expenditures, and compile regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation.
- Oversee membership recruitment and community outreach, allocate and monitor work assigned to program volunteers and staff, and provide ongoing feedback and regular appraisal.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years' work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics, and demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities.
- Possess a valid driver's license and bilingual skills (Spanish) are preferred. Required to complete and pass TB test as mandated by the school district.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $24-$25 per hour, pension plan after meeting eligibility criteria, paid time off, insurance benefits, training & development opportunities.
