Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Benefit Coordinator to join our team at Spring Gate Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.


About the Role

This role involves performing payroll administration functions in accordance with federal/state/facility/regional pay guidelines. You will also be responsible for coordinating PIB (pay-in-lieu of benefits) process and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.


Responsibilities
  • Process payroll in accordance with federal/state/facility/regional pay guidelines.
  • Ensure that pay practices are documented, pay rates and programs are monitored, and merit increases are timely.
  • Coordinate PIB (pay-in-lieu of benefits) process, including verifying that employees do not elect PIB when enrolled in any other benefit plans (excluding the retirement savings plans).
  • Post state and federal posters required by law in appropriate locations.
  • Ensure that the HRIS contains correct employee information including; social security number, job title and FLSA status.
  • Reviews employee time and attendance reports for accuracy and completeness, and makes corrections as necessary.
  • Serves as a back up to the SDC to ensure WOTC compliance and backup to Human Resources Coordinator as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, college level courses in accounting or business preferred.
  • Two years' experience in payroll or human resources.
