Job Summary:

This Administrative Technician role is a key position within the Shelby County, TN organization. As a member of the Community Health and Navigation in Tennessee Program team, you will provide high-level clerical support to the Manager, Supervisors, and Nurses. Your responsibilities will include medical billing, data entry, scheduling, analyzing, processing, and maintaining policy-level financial, statistical, and data control.

The ideal candidate will have four years of experience in appropriate clerical, bookkeeping, data processing, or statistical work, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical billing experience is preferred. You will be responsible for processing claims, controlling accounting functions, purchasing program materials, performing data entry, and communicating with customers.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid Tennessee driver's license and daily access to an operable automobile are required. The salary for this position is approximately $43,000-$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
