Position Overview:
The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading the Front Office team, ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently delivered. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clear communication and direction to staff both verbally and in writing.
  • Monitoring lobby activity and adjusting staffing as needed.
  • Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and efficiently managing the registration process.
  • Promoting the Pyramid Hotel Group marketing initiatives.
  • Making informed room selections based on guest requirements.
  • Handling cash transactions and balancing an assigned house bank.
  • Resolving guest issues through thorough research and effective solutions.
  • Maintaining composure during busy periods and serving as a role model for the Front Office team.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Ability to navigate and input information into a moderately complex computer system.
  • Capacity to stand and move continuously throughout the front office area.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required, with some college education preferred. While no prior experience is necessary, two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience is advantageous. All employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
