Program Overview:
Rockefeller Capital Management presents a unique Summer Analyst Program experience within a distinguished independent financial advisory environment. Our diverse operations, boutique size, and entrepreneurial spirit foster a dynamic and personalized experience for our Analysts.

This ten-week internship program is designed to immerse participants in the culture and operations of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will engage in the daily functions of the business, offering opportunities for learning, growth, and excellence.

  • Networking opportunities with peers, mentors, and senior leaders across the firm.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
To qualify for consideration, candidates must be projected graduates of 2026 and maintain good academic standing. Candidates should possess an interest in the financial services sector and demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully.

Position:
The Alternative Investments Team at Rockefeller Capital Management seeks a Summer Analyst to assist in their business unit. The Summer Analyst will gain insights into the suite of products available on our Rockefeller Global Family Office platform, which connects clients with top-tier alternative managers and strategies. The team also collaborates closely with internal departments, including Technology, Operations, and Finance, to identify enhancements for the advisor experience when engaging with the Alternatives team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Alternative Investments team to conduct due diligence and analysis on various investment opportunities in both private and public markets.
  • Provide assistance on urgent inquiries and questions requiring immediate attention.
  • Work alongside senior investment professionals and client advisors on special projects, including investment memos, performance reviews, and automation initiatives requiring programming skills.
  • Attend meetings and assist in preparing internal and external presentations.
  • Research diverse industries, asset classes, and opportunities that may present potential investments.
  • Engage in quantitative and qualitative analyses of investments on the platform.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Previous internship experience in the financial sector, particularly in wealth management or asset management, is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of investments, portfolio reporting, and related terminology.
  • Highly analytical with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ability to utilize Excel for organizing, analyzing, presenting, and reporting client information; knowledge of Word, Access, and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • A self-motivated individual who works effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and reassess priorities as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Programming experience is a plus (e.g., C/C++/Java/Python).

Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38/hour. The actual hourly rate will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may vary outside the stated range.
