BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group ("TIG") stands as a leading entity in timberland investment management globally, overseeing assets and commitments totaling US$ 7.1 billion across nearly 3 million acres in the United States and Latin America.
Position Summary
TIG is in search of an Analyst to enhance its Client Solutions team based in New York City.
The Analyst will be immersed in the entire spectrum of TIG's investment methodologies, spanning from the initial phases of strategy development and capital acquisition to execution and continuous client engagement. This position will play a crucial role in supporting TIG's climate-positive forest investment initiatives across the U.S. and Latin America, aimed at harnessing the significant climate mitigation capabilities of the forestry sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in TIG's capital acquisition strategies, which includes orchestrating and implementing distribution plans, crafting and updating marketing materials, and completing due diligence inquiries.
• Provide support for investor relations to current TIG clients, which encompasses maintaining investor documentation (presentations, fact sheets), performance analysis, data projects, organizing investor meetings, and addressing various investor inquiries.
• Engage in TIG's business development and innovation initiatives.
• Develop and sustain data and presentations for internal reporting purposes.
• Lead specific process enhancement and strategic commercial projects.
Qualifications Required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including investment committee members, clients, and partners.
• A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in executing a diverse range of tasks, including long-term strategic projects.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects concurrently, while adhering to established timelines.
• A genuine interest in real assets investment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• 1 to 2 years of pertinent experience in financial services, investment management, consulting, or a related sector.
• Prior experience in a client-facing or business development capacity within the investment management field, particularly with direct involvement in capital acquisition and client relationship management.
