As a Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the services and abilities of Primoris Renewable Operation and Maintenance for Wind, PV, and Energy Storage to new and existing customers, decision-makers, and influencers within the Renewable industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research markets and market trends in existing and emerging markets.
  • Research and understand the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its benefits.
  • Examine information on new perspective clients and provide recommendations on the pursuit of those clients.
  • Work with our Strategic Clients in the identification, due diligence, and development strategies of opportunities.
  • Assist in the estimating, financial, schedule, logistics, and execution plans for the projects to ensure they meet Primoris Renewables and the Client's needs.
  • Pursue qualified opportunities to secure backlog for the company, while meeting the financial forecasting expectations of the organization.
  • Communicate within the organization of potential project opportunities and develop the capture strategies to secure project awards.
  • Work with the Team to execute the capture strategies during the Proposal process, while ensuring the commitments by the Client Account Manager, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders are upheld.
  • Continue as the main point of contact for the Strategic Clients during each of the development phases, including Identification & Development, Bidding, and Contracting Phases.
  • Provide feedback on the perception of outside customers and influencers about Primoris Renewables so that changes and strategies can be developed for company improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong business networks within the renewable community, including Wind, PV, and Energy Storage.
  • Actively participate in industry groups and affiliations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in the O&M industry, with experience in multiple departments within O&M being a plus.
  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Estimating, Proposals, or Project Management.
  • Preference given for experience in Operations & Maintenance for Renewable Assets.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the renewables (solar & wind) and energy storage industry terminology and delivery methods.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • The ability to listen to our clients and effectively discriminate that information to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills within the renewable industry preferred.
  • Industry relationships with major battery manufacturers.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Public speaking skills.
  • Persistent and follow-through in a consistent manner.
  • Generate partnering opportunities; design-build, value engineering efforts, and create solutions for the project approach.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Primoris's practice, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of contractual terms, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Knowledge of project financial structures.
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills and Sales Process experience.
  • Preference given for skills in Business Development planning and Strategic Account Management skills.
