Account Manager Job Description

Peterson's, a leading EdTech SaaS and publisher, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive account management responsibilities for our larger clients across our Career Prep business line.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions, driving product adoption, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. You will be the first hire in our account management team, with the responsibility to help define our account management program and lead its services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Onboarding and Training: Facilitate the onboarding process for larger new and existing clients, ensuring a seamless transition to our products.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product features and enhancements to effectively communicate benefits to clients and drive product adoption.
  • Account Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, promoting additional features and services to drive revenue growth.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback and insights to relay to the product development team, influencing future product improvements.
  • Renewals and Contract Management: Participate in the renewal process, addressing any issues that may affect client retention and ensuring smooth contract management.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor client usage and success metrics, proactively addressing concerns to ensure clients achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2-5 years in account management, customer success, or sales, preferably in the education sector.
  • Location: Must be based in the Denver area and able to come into the office 1-2 times a week.
