  • Collaborate across the organization (e.g., engineering, regulatory, sales, payloads) to grasp the status and changes that may affect client success and work to mitigate challenges.
  • Lead significant client reviews and deliverables, coordinating cross-functionally to plan, develop, and present high-quality materials and briefings.
  • Support or lead, depending on the client, the development and verification of technical interface control documents.
  • Assist our Sales team with proposal efforts to ensure new projects are accurately scoped and aligned with the strategic vision of the company, ensuring contracts are executable.
Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations under ITAR.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in an engineering field.
  • 8+ years of experience working with government, NASA, or commercial launch contracts.
  • Experience in spacecraft mission design, development, integration, testing, launch, and/or operations.
  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts.
  • Active security clearance (TS, TS//SCI, or S) or willingness to seek a clearance.
  • Comprehensive spacecraft mission project lifecycle experience (cradle-to-grave).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $130,000 - $195,000 per year.
  • This role is on-site.
  • Compensation and base salary are determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance.
  • Eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

ITAR Requirements
  • Varda, like all employers, must ensure that its employees working in the United States are lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. Additionally, our employees are exposed to and have access to certain export-controlled items. Currently, some of our technology requires a license to be exported to individuals other than "U.S. Persons" as defined in U.S. export regulations.
