LinQuest is in search of a Lead Space Systems Architect to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
This role involves supporting comprehensive kill chain analysis for Space Control initiatives. The ideal candidate will be tasked with defining and upholding requirements, interfaces, test and verification strategies, and system integration plans, all tailored to enhance space defense capabilities and assess future system performance. The work environment is classified and requires a high level of security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to deliver complete mission architecture capabilities and requirements aimed at achieving specific mission outcomes. This includes:
- Conducting and producing deliverables in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups focused on the design, development, production, and integration of Space Control systems.
- Building an understanding of adversarial threats and their implications for US space assets.
- Facilitating and presenting solutions to challenges related to system-of-systems integration.
- Establishing and maintaining mission architecture interface requirements for Space Control projects.
- Creating verification plans that trace back to testing events.
- Formulating comprehensive system integration strategies for end-to-end capabilities.
- Gathering, analyzing, and reporting data from system-of-systems integration activities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Mission Engineering experience is advantageous.
- Over 10 years of relevant technical experience in the aerospace sector.
- A minimum of 5 years in space system requirements verification, testing, and evaluation.
- Proven ability to independently solve problems across various mission architecture systems engineering domains, including requirements development, analysis, verification, and testing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong customer relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in engineering.
- Experience with classified programs.
- Background in space system design, development, production, integration, testing, and/or certification.
