Compensation: $109,000-$117,000/year

Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in crafting precise forecasts, analyzing business metrics, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position is essential in contributing to the Financial Planning and Analysis team, blending a commitment to our mission with a proactive approach to lead a solution-oriented team that collaborates on critical operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong partnerships across the business, transforming financial data into actionable insights for management.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to reporting and business processes proactively.
  • Support strategic decision-making through comprehensive modeling and analysis for key business units.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of OpenSquare's consolidated corporate financial model, including managing rolling forecasts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on the annual and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Assist in developing annual forecasts and scenarios, focusing on key financial drivers and metrics.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations.
  • Refine financial systems and modeling tools to support growth and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead monthly P&L reviews, analyzing results against plans and preparing variance reports.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses that inform strategic business decisions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and P&L management, with a combination of education and experience considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to tailor communications to suit various audiences.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for scaling financial operations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to high-quality output and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to engage with executives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle ERP, NetSuite); experience with databases (e.g., SQL) and business planning systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable articulating financial concepts to senior management.
  • High standard of integrity, especially when handling confidential information.
  • Some local travel may be required.
