Role Summary

This role is essential in enhancing the Finance Division and various Business Units by establishing robust financial management practices, executing both tactical and strategic analyses, and facilitating the Annual Operating Planning process. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position will involve significant collaboration with division leaders and cross-departmental teams to provide financial training, process enhancement, and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough analyses of historical and current financial data.
  • Generating reports and forecasts grounded in financial and business evaluations.
  • Assessing capital expenditures and calculating Return on Investment.
  • Developing and reviewing profit strategies.
  • Identifying financial performance trends and proposing improvement strategies.
  • Collaborating with finance team members to scrutinize financial data and forecasts.
  • Creating financial models and forecasts.
  • Assisting in the coordination of the Annual Operating Plan process, culminating in the company's annual budget.
  • Facilitating the execution of the Operating Plan/Budget process for designated business units, including providing guidelines for budget preparation and cash flow management.
  • Supporting the preparation of long-term financial forecasts for business units, including sensitivity analyses.
  • Providing support for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Acting as a strategic partner for financial management and analytical support to business unit leaders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of forecasts, analytics, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Participating in benchmarking and study group organizations relevant to the company.
  • Contributing to the development of benchmarks for the company's performance reporting.
  • Utilizing strategic insights and market data to formulate recommendations.

Team Collaboration
  • Working collaboratively within the finance team to ensure customer needs are met with a focus on service excellence.
  • Maintaining effective communication with peers and cross-functional team members.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of process and procedure documentation.
  • Acting as a strategic partner for Business Unit leaders.
  • Embodying and promoting the company's Core Values.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in financial management, including senior roles in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in developing complex financial models.
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive reporting packages for key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment
  • Operates in a professional office setting.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
