Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at NAS. This key role will drive business insights, forecast financial performance, and support decision-making through data analysis, financial modeling, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop reports for forecasting and monthly financial results analysis, including presentation of financials to senior management.
  • Financial Insights and Storytelling: Analyze financial results and condense them into a coherent story with clear, easy-to-understand conclusions and implications, including insights on key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with P&L and cost center managers to ensure good financial decision-making and partnership.
  • Financial Modeling and Budgeting: Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making, and support the development and execution of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis and Projects: Lead ad-hoc analytical projects and strategic initiatives, and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, projects, and presentations as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; MBA desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A or a related field; experience in the Aviation or Transportation industry is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis; advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, and experience with financial software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle); excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Work Environment

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Most work requires normal physical effort. Requires use of computer (word processing and spreadsheets) for compiling reports, statistical data, composing memoranda, and other similar documents.
