As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by being:


A SAGE Authority:

You possess expertise in SAGE Intacct software, enabling comprehensive utilization of its features through report generation and dashboard support. You will also take on the role of SAGE systems administrator.


Strategic Planner:

You will facilitate financial planning and analysis related to grant funding, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.


Detail-Oriented:

You will be responsible for preparing and managing financial projects, focusing on budgeting, variance analysis, grant reporting, and ad hoc financial assessments.


Team Player:

You will enhance cross-departmental collaboration by identifying management reporting needs and tailoring financial system reports and dashboards accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute the annual budgeting process.
  • Act as the SAGE systems administrator.
  • Support ongoing forecasts and leverage strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from financial data.
  • Prepare and oversee assigned financial projects.
  • Facilitate financial planning and analysis concerning grant funding.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAGE accounting systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in grants reporting and management is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Strong background in budgeting, planning, and ad hoc analysis.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Expertise in data analytics and familiarity with SQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
