About the Job">

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Materials Researcher to join our team at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy conversion materials and devices, with experience in photovoltaic (PV) research and development. They will be responsible for performing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting technical work internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform experiments and characterize PV materials and devices

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment developing PV materials and devices
  • Strong background in energy materials and devices, including PV research and development
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong track record of innovation
