Mission Critical Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Critical Project Coordinator to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our complex projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with program managers and technical leads to monitor and report on project performance
- Developing and maintaining detailed project management plans, including analysis of task dependencies and potential solutions to resolve project performance challenges
- Working closely with project leads to collate program information into reports, presentations, briefs, and other deliverables
- Ensuring program contractual deliverables are compliant and submitted on-time by researching, compiling, composing, proofreading, and applying proper security markings
- Assisting program management and technical contributors with the protection of classified program information and applying derivative classification markings to program documentation
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a business, technical, or relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant experience coordinating project operations
- Proven ability to review and organize technical information, provide a critical review of documents for technical content and style, and create presentations from existing material for high-level briefings
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience effectively communicating with all levels of management, military, and government officials
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and prioritize competing efforts independently solving moderately complex problems
The ideal candidate will have an active Final Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
