Electromagnetic Field Specialist

At the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), we seek a talented Electromagnetic Field Specialist to join our team of computational and experimental researchers. As an RF systems research engineer, you will work closely with our team to oversee the design, prototyping, and fabrication of novel metasurfaces and intelligent structures designed for manipulating RF fields.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields and proficiency in using a full-wave electromagnetic simulation package such as CST, HFSS, or COMSOL. Experience configuring and operating typical RF hardware equipment like vector network analyzers, antennas, and spectrum analyzers is also required.
A salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year is expected, commensurate with experience.
