Overview

At Apple, we believe in the power of innovation and the extraordinary potential of our team. As a key player in the Hardware Technologies Engineering organization, you will take on the role of a Test Chip Engineering Program Manager. This position is pivotal in orchestrating the complete silicon schedules and addressing technical challenges to ensure the timely delivery of Test Chip silicon for custom Analog and Digital Hard IP development and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a Program Management team dedicated to resolving technical challenges to deliver silicon that meets ambitious Test Chip timelines.
  • Lead internal program processes to ensure high-quality silicon definition and design execution.
  • Support the execution of significant milestones within a dynamic design team.
  • Engage with multi-functional teams including Design, Verification, DFT, Validation, Technology, Digital IP, and Analog IP to drive issue resolution.
  • Guide design teams in achieving immediate goals and overcoming technical hurdles by coordinating the right specialists for data-driven solutions.
  • Manage interdependencies across various programs, functional teams, and locations.
  • Provide focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communicate program risks and status effectively.
  • Identify potential risks, develop strategies for mitigation, and facilitate conflict resolution.
Essential Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in SoC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, technology process development, or Analog/Digital IP design.
Experience in Technical Program or Project Management, or Functional Management.
Strong understanding of the Analog/Digital IP development process, tools, methodologies, and the lifecycle of a Test Chip.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels, including executive communication.
Proven ability to thrive in a multifaceted engineering environment, excelling in multitasking and real-time crisis management.
Expertise in managing project development with clearly defined metrics.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript, Python, and Perl.
Experience with project management tools like Confluence and JIRA.

Education & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
