Overview

As a pivotal member of our Silicon Technologies division, you will engage in the design and production of cutting-edge, high-performance processors and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. Your contributions will ensure that our products deliver seamless functionality, enhancing the user experience for millions of customers worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on developing and validating software that tests the graphics processing unit (GPU) under various conditions. You will leverage your expertise in GPU architecture to create tests that rigorously evaluate the interaction between the GPU and various integrated components of the SoC.

Key tasks include:
  • Writing complex shaders to generate high bandwidth traffic to and from the memory subsystem.
  • Utilizing driver and firmware APIs to compile shaders and facilitate data movement within the SoC.
  • Debugging software and hardware issues related to the SoC, ensuring comprehensive system-level validation.


Essential Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Graphics programming, including OpenGL and CUDA.
  • Strong understanding of GPU pipelines and graphics principles.
  • Knowledge of system and SoC architectures.
  • Experience with image processing, memory hierarchies, and compiler technologies.
  • Solid programming skills in C/C++.
  • Ability to implement and execute machine learning workloads for GPU performance characterization.
  • Competence in Python and GNU Make.
  • Deep knowledge of compute systems, operating systems, and computer architecture.
  • Passion for low-level programming and debugging.
  • Extensive experience in SoC system-level validation and troubleshooting.
  • A validation mindset characterized by meticulousness, curiosity, and persistence.


Educational Background

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree coupled with at least 10 years of relevant experience in silicon validation software engineering or a closely related field.
