Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting bench tests, debugging, and characterizing embedded on-chip circuitry, including PLLs, DLLs, clocks, data converters, DDR memory, and various I/O interfaces.
  • Developing and executing benchtop electrical tests that engage on-chip circuitry through FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces.
  • Creating and implementing scripts to automate testing processes, extract results, and generate comprehensive reports using database and analytical tools.
  • Generating detailed reports for characterization and debugging purposes to provide valuable design feedback.
  • Performing in-system PI/SI measurements to correlate with simulation models.
  • Collaborating with design, system hardware, and software teams to enhance product performance.
  • Providing support for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Product Engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in analog mixed-signal test development, including specification review, validation planning, test bench construction, and data collection with automation.
  • A strong foundational understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuitry in areas such as PLLs, data converters, DDR memory, and temperature sensors.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory instruments, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and pattern generators.
  • Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, for test automation and data analysis.
  • A commitment to quality results and a proactive approach to ownership and responsibility in driving deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience, including soldering and instrumenting systems, is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience.
