Job Title: Audio Visual Solutions Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Solutions Architect with a robust background in Audio Visual and Video Conferencing technologies to enhance our Collaboration team. This role is critical in ensuring the effective design, execution, and deployment of AV solutions. You will contribute to the overarching Audio-Visual strategy, aiming to elevate the collaborative meeting experience across various business sectors.

Position Responsibilities:

- Oversee the technical aspects and support for integrated AV projects

- Conduct onsite installations with team members or third-party support

- Evaluate AV project Scope of Work (SOW)

- Update and refine design documentation, collaborating with the Solution Architecture team to develop programming and elevation designs as necessary

- Create comprehensive AV installation drawing packages, including elevation diagrams and final as-built wiring diagrams

- Advise clients on optimal placement for all AV components, utilizing industry-standard calculations and best practices

- Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in AV technology and vendors

- Collaborate with the Project Management team to address project implementation challenges

- Assist in troubleshooting AV systems as required

- Identify special project considerations such as lifts, rigging, and specialized mounts

- Provide engineering and DSP system programming support during AV system installations

- Travel to various job sites as needed

Travel Requirements:

This position may require national travel up to 50%, with potential for international travel. Proximity to major airports is advantageous.

Position Requirements:

- Comprehensive understanding of systems integration techniques

- Familiarity with basic IP networking principles

- Proficiency in Visio or CAD applications

- Experience in Audio DSP configuration and programming, including Shure, Biamp, and QSC

- Background in the integration and installation of advanced AV systems such as Cisco and Yealink

- Skilled in the installation of AV equipment, including projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, and cabling

- Experience with collaboration platforms like MS Teams, Cisco WebEx, and Zoom

- Capability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally

- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

- Ability to lead AV system installations on-site

Position Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military experience

- Certifications from Biamp, QSC, Zoom, Cisco, Yealink, Shure, and Dante levels 1, 2, and 3 are advantageous

- Enthusiastic about AV technology and committed to delivering high-quality installations

- Demonstrated leadership and guidance during on-site installations

- Strong project management and time management skills

- Solid background in AV testing and quality assurance

- Excellent communication skills

- Vendor certifications are highly regarded
