You will contribute significantly to the Audio-Visual strategy, aiming to elevate the collaborative meeting experience across various business functions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The AV Design Consultant will oversee the technical aspects and provide support for integrated AV projects.
  • Conduct onsite installations with team members or third-party service providers.
  • Evaluate AV project Scope of Work (SOW) documents.
  • Update design documentation and collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to develop programming and elevation designs as necessary.
  • Facilitate the preparation of AV installation drawing packages, including elevation diagrams and final as-built wiring diagrams.
  • Advise clients on optimal placement for all AV components using industry-standard calculations and best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and vendors in AV technology.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to address project implementation challenges.
  • Assist in troubleshooting AV systems as required.
  • Identify unique project considerations, including lifts, rigging, and specialized mounts.
  • Provide engineering and DSP system programming support during onsite AV system installations.
  • Travel to various job sites as needed.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require national travel up to 50%, with potential for international travel. Proximity to major airports is advantageous.

Position Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of systems integration techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking.
  • Experience with Visio or CAD applications.
  • Proficiency in Audio DSP configuration and programming, including brands such as Shure, Biamp, and QSC.
  • Experience in the integration and installation of advanced AV systems, including Cisco and Yealink.
  • Installation experience with AV equipment such as projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, basic cabling, and mounts.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms, including MS Teams, Cisco WebEx, and Zoom.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ability to lead AV system installations onsite.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.
  • Certifications from Biamp, QSC, Zoom, Cisco, Yealink, Shure, and Dante levels 1, 2, and 3 are advantageous.
  • Strong passion for AV technology and commitment to delivering high-quality installations.
  • Proven leadership and guidance skills during onsite installations.
  • Excellent project and time management abilities.
  • Solid background in AV testing and quality assurance.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Vendor certifications are highly regarded.
