IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR FRONT DESK POSITION

As a Front Desk Representative, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and registering guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout their stay, and managing the checkout process. Your primary responsibilities will encompass: guest registration, reservation management, hotel operations, and concierge services. Delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before their arrival and during their stay is essential, while also optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Establishing accurate accounts for each guest upon arrival.
  • Blocking rooms in the system and adhering to specified requirements.
  • Pre-registering guests and preparing key packets in advance.
  • Communicating relevant guest information to appropriate departments.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding all guest and hotel information.
  • Exercising attention to detail to ensure secure access to guest rooms.
  • Keeping comprehensive guest history files.
  • Accommodating room changes as necessary.
  • Documenting all guest requests, complaints, or issues promptly and notifying the relevant department for resolution, ensuring follow-up for guest satisfaction.
  • Possessing thorough knowledge of all hotel features/services, operational hours, room types, layouts, decor, and current promotions.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
  • Handling confidential information, including guest records, with integrity.
  • Addressing guest requests and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Answering and directing calls appropriately; accurately taking guest messages.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including cash transactions and registration documentation.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, and local travel directions.
  • Recording important guest information in the pass-on log.
  • Ensuring cleanliness in common areas and the lobby.
  • Gathering and providing information to guests about the property and local amenities, including events and activities.
  • Managing all guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns efficiently.
  • Contacting the appropriate departments (e.g., Maintenance, Housekeeping) as needed to resolve guest issues.
  • Reviewing shift logs and documenting pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficient in accurately inputting information into computer systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all hotel team members.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
