Job Summary

Bowhead is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager Specialist to support our Facilities, Services & Supply (FS&S) contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's assets, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control, and providing exceptional support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process adjustment transactions in the Universal Work Queue (UWQ) to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Respond to Service Requests (SRs) for initial asset entry into the Asset Property System Record (APSR), ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Validate documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including serial number status, DODAACs, and authorized personnel signatures.
  • Submit follow-up task notes in SRs for issues found in the request, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • File supporting documents in the approved repository location, maintaining a secure and organized digital record.
  • Review published checklists for birthing actions to ensure accuracy and avoid rework, ensuring seamless integration with our inventory management system.
  • Assist Marine Corps Logistics Command with requested capital asset FAM retirement actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Money Value Gain-Loss statement and documents for Accountable Officer signature, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of scheduled inventories per the published fiscal year Physical Inventory Control Plan (PICP), including preparing inventory documents and conducting causative research.
  • Review and perform material redistribution requests as submitted by command commodities, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Conduct parent/child configuration of assets as requested via service request and task in GCSS-MC, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or BA/BS and four or more (4+) years of relevant experience.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Experience with GCSS-MC.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in the use of on-line government property databases is preferred.
  • Actively participate in continuous development and enhancement of the property control system.
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Inspection and internal audit skills are a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
