Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the construction process from inception to completion in collaboration with a Project Manager.
  • Ensure all work aligns with architectural plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and manage material procurement in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Supervise onsite subcontractors and labor personnel.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Review and set expectations for subcontracted work, holding all parties accountable.
  • Manage the logistics of material deliveries, including handling and storage.
  • Ensure quality control, compliance with building codes, and facilitate inspections.
  • Maintain a tidy job site and uphold company presentation standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and attend safety meetings regularly.
  • Keep a daily log of job site activities, including documentation of visitors and inspections.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage in weekly site meetings with clients and the design team.
  • Assist the Project Manager with monthly budget reconciliation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and company events.
  • Engage in monthly performance reviews with the Director of Construction.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of RW company values and culture.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry is essential, specifically in residential homebuilding. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the building process, from earthwork to final inspections.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in custom residential construction and remodeling.
  • Strong proficiency in managing and adhering to project schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by warmth and approachability.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong drive and productivity levels.
  • Able to address conflicts directly and hold team members accountable.
