Construction Engineer

Manson Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineer - Project Management Specialist to join our Project Management Team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project work element plans and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Site Management: Coordinate project activities with Manson superintendents, foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
- Design and Engineering: Review designs, drawings, and engineering data prepared by Manson consultants and vendors for conformance with project plans and specifications.
- Material Management: Investigate and research needed permanent and consumable material items, equipment, and tools to ensure availability and quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect newly delivered permanent materials for conformance with project requirements.
- Client Relations: Coordinate project activities with the client's representatives and other project stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and compliance with project requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular project reports and photographic records to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management from a four-year college or university.
- Experience: Marine Construction Industry experience preferred.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management software (HCSS & Primavera), and a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
