As a Technical Applications Specialist on the Cloud team at InterSystems, you will play a crucial role in the successful and timely support of hosted InterSystems environments, such as HealthShare Managed Solutions, Health Connect, and IRIS for Health.

You will have the opportunity to design powerful tools and automations that will have a significant impact on operational activities, as part of our ongoing commitment to improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day operations of industry leading healthcare organizations.
  • Respond to incidents and troubleshoot them - independently and using multiple data sources where required - in a timely manner, as per agreed incident management processes.
  • Complete detailed, logically consistent RCA reviews.
  • Optimize operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Pro-actively identify potential and/or actual issues affecting operational services and address them using agreed processes and operating procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with InterSystems products and Healthcare and IT industry developments and undertake any relevant self-development or training.
  • Provide support for ingesting HL7 messages, CCD documents, and data formats.
  • Flexibility in shift schedule to provide coverage for the west coast.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards i.e. HL7, IHE, CCDA etc.
  • Knowledge and Experience with InterSystems technology is a bonus.
  • Excellent capabilities and facility with software development, programming, and/or applications.
  • Good troubleshooting experience across complex environments.
  • Enthusiastic about customer and team success.
