As a Cloud Technical Specialist on the InterSystems Cloud team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and successful support of hosted InterSystems environments, such as HealthShare Managed Solutions, Health Connect, and IRIS for Health. Your expertise in application knowledge will be essential in providing functional and technical support in these areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day operations of industry-leading healthcare organizations.
  • Respond to incidents and troubleshoot them independently and using multiple data sources where required, in a timely manner, as per agreed incident management processes.
  • Complete detailed, logically consistent RCA reviews.
  • Optimize operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify potential and/or actual issues affecting operational services and address them using agreed processes and operating procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with InterSystems products and Healthcare and IT industry developments and undertake any relevant self-development or training.
  • Provide support for ingesting HL7 messages, CCD documents, and data formats.
  • Flexibility in shift schedule to provide coverage for the west coast.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7, IHE, and CCDA.
  • Knowledge and experience with InterSystems technology is a bonus.
  • Excellent capabilities and facility with software development, programming, and/or applications.
  • Good troubleshooting experience across complex environments.
  • Enthusiastic about customer and team success.

Ability to solve difficult problems; develops creative solutions; ability to identify key issues/problems through analysis and questions; attacks problems systematically; sees non-obvious relationships.
