Job Title: Business Development Director

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing oversight, expertise, and leadership to the Business Development function for the facility. The successful candidate will oversee daily new client organic, alumni, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) admissions, ensuring an organized admission workflow and maintaining SEO accountability and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining census at established budget expectations by providing oversight to the coordinators and representatives.
  • Assist the CEO in keeping referral pipeline at adequate levels to maintain budget census.
  • Responsible for SEO production oversight, including any necessary communication, reporting, and review of current and historic performance.
  • Oversees the flow of all patient referrals by ensuring effective coordination and collaboration between liaisons, program coordinator, and case management with the Admission Department.
  • Ensures pre-admission process is compliant with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures that direct reports have been received upon hire and continue to receive throughout employment, information, and support to accomplish departmental objectives and meet job requirements.
  • Work effectively with facility staff to ensure consistent implementation of programs.
  • Helps to maintain strong clinical intake programs. Interact with the treatment team to facilitate prompt and effective services for the client.
  • Return answering service calls, send payor emails.
  • Complete call tracking report weekly and call audits on a weekly basis.
  • Read VOBs/assign OOP.
  • Review and process referrals for eligibility, process collections, payment plans, review hardship for incoming commercials, and maintain collection log.
  • Maintain salesforce database-add and update users/contacts.
  • Receive and vet lead from marketing.

Requirements:

  • An Associate degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years experience in the healthcare admissions field.
  • Preferred experience in SUD.
  • Previous experience in the rehabilitation field was preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance, such as managed care and case management functions, required.
  • Must have their own transportation, with current auto liability and maintain the minimum auto liability insurance required by the State.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Will satisfactorily perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

This role operates in a healthcare setting. Duties and responsibilities require the role to operate in a clinical setting with potential exposure to infectious diseases.
