About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to join our team at Live Aloha LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering top-quality client and staff experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the execution of construction projects, planning labor requirements, equipment requirements, and material deliveries to ensure completion of jobs within deadlines.
  • Safety and Quality: Manage safety, quality, and productivity of work at sites and/or shop/yard, ensuring compliance with government and company PPE standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a landscape construction crew of 2 to 5 employees, delegating job tasks to crew members to assist in the completion of landscape constructions.
  • Communication: Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and crew safety.
  • Reporting: Complete and submit all required paperwork or electronic logs daily, including daily site meeting logs, crew daily forms, attendance tracking, time and materials billing summaries, and requests for time off.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in the landscape/construction industry.
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Certification: Industry Certification is an asset.
  • Skills: Highly structured in organization and time management, demonstrating initiative, self-starter, performance driven, effective communication skills, and excellent knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent stamina, and work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
