We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Conduct quality control checks on repaired equipment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and technical updates

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months or less of experience in a related field
  • Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively with employees and customers
  • Proficient in the use of computer software and relevant Dealer software programs

Working Environment

This role requires occasional exposure to physical demands, including:

  • Climbing
  • Standing
  • Sitting
  • Walking
  • Pushing and pulling heavy equipment

Environmental Conditions

This role requires occasional exposure to environmental conditions, including:

  • Inside conditions: Protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature change
  • Outside environmental conditions: No effective protection from weather
  • Extreme cold: Temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour
  • Extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
