**Job Summary**

The Procurement Specialist will report directly to the Materials Manager at Dynatect Manufacturing Inc. Their primary functions will be to:

• Provide accurate promise dates to customers based on current shop load and material requirements.

• Plan jobs for release to production, including:

• Reviewing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system messages.

• Ensuring material requirements have been satisfied and material is on-time.

• Reviewing capacity constraints with team leads and supervisors.

• Releasing required paperwork to the shop floor.

• Other tasks as required.

• Provides updated production schedules to customer service to ensure customer satisfaction is being met.

• Identify material shortages and work with production to prevent those shortages from affecting customer delivery expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production, quality, and customer service.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processes.

• Analyze and resolve material-related issues to minimize delays and optimize production.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
