Position Summary:

The Sales Strategy Manager for Paper Products is responsible for overseeing and guiding sales personnel to attract and secure new clients for paper product sales. This role also involves direct selling and promoting designated products within a specified sales territory, reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and train sales staff to attract and secure new clients, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Authorize new sales agreements, manage product orders, interact with clients and production teams, oversee commission structures, and generate reports.
  • Inspire the sales team through regular meetings, promotional activities, contests, and training sessions.
  • Adhere to company sales policies and procedures, including pricing and product guidelines.
  • Present a professional demeanor, build relationships, communicate effectively, and address customer needs while collaborating with other departments.
  • Safely operate a vehicle during sales trips, complying with all applicable laws and company policies.
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support other sales personnel or functions as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to recognize product colors, sizes, and types, and perform basic arithmetic operations accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

A college degree or a minimum of three years of sales management experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, driving, lifting up to 30 lbs, and other related activities.

Work Environment:

Work may be conducted in vehicles on public roads, general office settings, customer locations, and industrial facilities.

Travel Requirements:

Daily travel by vehicle within the assigned sales territory is expected.
