Position: Lead Teacher for Early Learning Programs

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates based on qualifications

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with a structured schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organization and educational atmosphere of the classroom, collaborating with teaching assistants in lesson planning and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Implement early childhood education standards and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and screenings to monitor children's development and progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open communication regarding their child's growth and development.
  • Design and present engaging weekly activity plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Utilize effective classroom management strategies to prevent disruptive behaviors and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, including attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances to enhance program quality and ensure a safe environment for children.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a minimum of 18 credits in early childhood education coursework.
  • Completion of required child care training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
  • At least one year of experience in early childhood education or child care services.
