Key ResponsibilitiesThe Preschool Teacher Assistant will:
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Document and track the developmental progress of children, ensuring effective communication with parents regarding their child's growth.
- Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior and facilitating a nurturing atmosphere.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and educational strategies.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in early childhood education, with preference given to those with relevant certifications.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly regarded.
- Completion of 45 hours of Early Learning Coalition training or in progress.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Education is preferred, along with a focus on Early Childhood Education.
