Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in early childhood education is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly advantageous.
  • Completion of 45 hours of ELC minimum requirements or currently pursuing them.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Education is preferred but not mandatory.
  • An Early Childhood Education Degree is a significant advantage.
  • CDA and/or Staff Credential from the Florida Department of Education is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

The Teacher Assistant will support the Lead Teacher in various educational activities, including curriculum delivery, developmental programming, and lesson planning tailored to the assigned age group. Responsibilities include:

  • Documenting children's activities and tracking their developmental progress.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborating with the Lead Teacher to manage classroom behavior and facilitate learning activities.
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Providing nurturing care and hygiene support for children.
  • Receiving guidance from the School Director and collaborating with a network of educators.
