Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group activities that support social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families through regular updates and meetings.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and state regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Uphold a clean and safe classroom environment, prioritizing hygiene and security.
  • Oversee the activities of teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure adherence to planned programs and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate documentation and records related to classroom activities and child progress.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • High energy and a collaborative spirit, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
  • A solid understanding of child development principles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid is preferred.
