POSITION SUMMARY

The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator will operate under general supervision, focusing on the management of incident data entry and tracking within our adult and educational sectors. Responsibilities include documenting minutes for incident review meetings, entering data into the OPWDD IRMA incident database, and aiding in the monitoring of corrective actions for reported incidents. This role also involves preparing summaries for program operations and management teams regarding incident reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in Incident Review Committee Meetings, assisting with documentation and tracking of incidents.
  • Support the collection and completion of necessary documentation, preparing incident packages for review meetings.
  • Maintain and regularly update the OPWDD IRMA Incident Database.
  • Oversee information requests from OPWDD, ensuring timely responses.
  • Document and maintain minutes from Incident Review Committee meetings.
  • Disseminate meeting minutes and update shared resources accordingly.
  • Assist in tracking open incidents and facilitate the submission of corrective action plans.
  • Help monitor unsubmitted incident and alert packages.
  • Collaborate with OPWDD incident management personnel as required.
  • Review weekly medical reports to confirm all incidents are reported.
  • Assist in gathering and organizing statistical data related to incident reporting.
  • Support compliance-related mailings as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and their families.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet software, and email systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.

COMPENSATION: $41,000 - $44,000 Annually with Comprehensive Benefits
