Position Overview

Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is seeking a Full Life Cycle Systems Engineer to conduct requirements analysis and system specification for Air Force SIGINT operations. This role supports one of our intelligence community clients. You will be instrumental in the modernization of Air Force SIGINT operations. The candidate will employ general systems engineering principles and practices throughout all lifecycle phases, including concept, design, development, production/testing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate with numerous government and development personnel regarding technical considerations for associated challenges, issues, or conflicts. Effective communication with peers and decision-makers will be essential to fulfill your responsibilities, along with thorough documentation. The individual will also be tasked with developing innovative approaches to assess technical or engineering challenges and evaluating requirements to ensure system stability. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited institution with a minimum of 15 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited institution with a minimum of 13 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • High school diploma or GED plus 19 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of US Armed Forces tactical SIGINT operations, military capabilities, and SIGINT concepts of operation.
  • Experience with US Air Force SIGINT operations is required.
Clearance: Must possess an active clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to engage with Service Cryptologic Offices.
  • Familiarity with Technical SIGINT Operations.
  • Qualified candidates should have experience in the intelligence cycle, information operations, signals intelligence technical expertise, an understanding of the National signals collection system, and familiarity with the various levels of tactical operations and analysis occurring within military services.
