We are currently in search of a Systems Engineering Specialist.

Position necessitates an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is mandatory.

Essential Responsibilities:

Evaluates user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications. Assesses system requirements and spearheads design and development efforts. Assists users in articulating requirements, recommends alternative strategies, and conducts feasibility assessments. Provides technical guidance for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Integrates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Produces technical documentation. Develops system architecture and design documentation. Oversees system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and testing plans. Engages with the Government on Systems Engineering technical considerations and related challenges, issues, or conflicts. Holds ultimate accountability for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering domain.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Systems (i.e., Hardware, Software, Network/Dataflow, Cloud) engineering processes and methodologies
  • Familiarity with SIGINT Systems
  • Capability to create project management and systems engineering artifacts that encapsulate processes, procedures, and the overall project lifecycle (i.e., CONOPS, Project Plan, Project and Program Schedules, Dependency Mapping, design diagrams, GAMBIT, requirements, work tickets, etc.)
  • Aptitude to coordinate technical tasks and schedules with IIOC strategic plans and initiatives
  • Ability to decompose and refine requirements to facilitate design, development, testing, and End User validation
  • Skill in tracking requirements to closure (including verification)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Collaboration Tools (i.e., Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft SharePoint)
  • Systems (or Software) Engineer with 14 to 20 years of experience
  • Self-Starter - capable of identifying tasks and completing them with minimal guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in operational missions
Education:

A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
