Position Summary
Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Specialist to conduct requirements analysis and system specification for Air Force Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) operations. This role supports one of our Intelligence Community clients in the surrounding areas. You will be instrumental in modernizing Air Force SIGINT operations. The selected candidate will implement general systems engineering principles and practices throughout all lifecycle phases, including concept, design, development, production/testing, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of government and development personnel regarding technical aspects of related challenges, issues, or conflicts. Effective communication with peers and decision-makers will be essential for fulfilling your responsibilities, along with producing written documentation. The individual will also be tasked with creating innovative strategies to assess technical or engineering challenges and analyzing requirements to ensure system stability. Occasional travel may be necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a related field from an accredited institution with at least 15 years of general systems engineering experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline or a related field from an accredited institution with at least 13 years of general systems engineering experience.
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 19 years of general systems engineering experience.
- Must possess a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Armed Forces tactical SIGINT operations, military capabilities, and SIGINT operational concepts.
- Experience with U.S. Air Force SIGINT operations is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to engage with Service Cryptologic Offices.
- Familiarity with Technical SIGINT Operations.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in the intelligence cycle, information operations, signals intelligence technical expertise, an understanding of the National signals collection system, and familiarity with various levels of tactical operations and analysis within military services.
