Currently, ManTech is seeking a dedicated and career-oriented Systems Engineer. In this capacity, you will evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to create system requirements specifications.
  • Assess system requirements and lead design and development initiatives.
  • Assist users in defining requirements, suggest alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility analyses.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, incorporating new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Generate technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated challenges.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows environments, managing and ensuring the technical integrity of the system baseline throughout its lifecycle.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Configure and manage Linux & Windows operating systems, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and enhance network components.
  • Design, deploy, and manage virtual environments (Docker, OpenShift).
  • Install and configure infrastructure-related software such as DNS, McAfee EPO Servers, CENTRIFY, and LDAP.
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot advanced problems and resolve intricate technical issues in the absence of documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related professional engineering discipline from an accredited institution. An additional four (4) years of experience may substitute for the degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Ansible, Salt, Python, and Trellix (formerly McAfee Enterprise).
  • Experience with advanced Linux scripting, Linux servers, CentOS 7 and 8, and Red Hat 8.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
