Workforce Development Manager

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a skilled Workforce Development Manager to develop and implement strategic workforce development initiatives that support the company's growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, education, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in workforce development. They will be responsible for creating a vision and framework for workforce development, partnering with HR and Operations to design and implement programs, and developing best practices for collaboration across the company.
The Workforce Development Manager will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a workforce development playbook, preparing and educating pursuit teams about workforce development programs, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to tailor programs and resources to address unique project, location, and role requirements.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and partnership-building skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion principles in workforce development, as well as knowledge of economic and social issues, trends, and impacts to the community, trades, and professional network organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic vision and framework for workforce development
- Partner with HR and Operations to design and implement workforce development programs
- Create and maintain a workforce development playbook
- Prepare and educate pursuit teams about workforce development programs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tailor programs and resources
- Develop best practices for collaboration across the company
- Measure the effectiveness of workforce development programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in workforce development
- 5+ years of experience in construction and/or human resources
Working Environment:
The Workforce Development Manager will work in a normal office environment, with occasional travel required. They will be expected to lift up to 10 pounds and have the ability to sit for long periods of time.
