Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing workforce employment-centered services to clients and families on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite job matching services, registrations, resume development and critique, one-on-one or small group setting workshops, and initial intake assessments.
  • Verify eligibility for TANF, WIOA, and SNAP to educate recipients on the support services available to obtain and retain employment.
  • Work with community-based and/or non-profit organizations to provide workforce employment-centered services to clients and/or families on-site.
  • Assess skills and interests, screen for program eligibility, and provide job search preparation and assistance.
  • Document services provided within 24 hours and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a recognized community college or four-year college or university, and comparable years of related case management and job matching experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Sound knowledge of workforce programs (SNAP, TANF, WIOA, NCP, RESEA, TAA, SEAL).
  • Demonstrate reliability and ability to work independently.
