Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Development Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customers are eligible for services and that all services are delivered in accordance with local, state, and federal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify customer eligibility for services
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the WIT Workforce Case Management System
  • Assist customers with enrollment in Career Office federally funded services
  • Collect and verify proper documentation
  • Provide ineligible individuals with alternative resources
  • Document counselor notes and ensure accurate and professional documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in workforce development or recruitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and industry clusters
